DIRECTOR / ARTIST / ANIMATOR

Katharine edited the short, Thicker than Water, for filmmaker and fellow Columbia University graduate Danielle Montalbano. The film premiered at the Hamptons International Film Festival, and Montalbano later won a Promax Best Director Award. Garrison also edited Montalbano’s promo Voom: Renew HD and directed a behind-the-scenes piece during Montalbano’s tenure as Director of Development at Magrack. Their long-standing director-editor rapport has led to multiple creative collaborations. As Garrison notes, “once you develop that creative bond, words are no longer needed.” SCENE EXCERPT.
