DANCING THROUGH follows three girls growing up in exile. Mercy lives in a refugee camp in Uganda after fleeing war in South Sudan; Rayan resettles in Germany after years of displacement from Syria; and Lela’s family leaves Venezuela’s economic collapse for Colombia. Filmed vérité over seven years, the documentary observes their passage into adolescence as they navigate friendship, identity, and belonging while their lives remain shaped by migration beyond their control.
